Crazy About Vampires!

I just finished watching the season finale of season one of True Blood – amazing!  It took me longer than I thought it would to make it through the first season due to the DVD releases of season 5 of House and season 6 of NCIS!

Talk about an addictive show!!  The characters are so compelling, and the storyline had be glued to the edge of my seat all season!  Some of the twists I’d kind of figured out already (don’t want to give anything away for anyone who hasn’t yet seen the show), and others had me completely blown away – the way all the best shows end up! 

I’m very much looking forward to season 2 (which I’ve already started downloading) – hopefully the magic continues!

Vampires!

So I’ve been hearing a lot (A LOT!) about this show True Blood.  I finally decided to check it out, and ended up downloading the first episode of the first season.  I watched it last night – wow!  It was a little shocking (I had to keep reminding myself that it doesn’t air on my usual channels and therefore the tv “rules” are much different), but quite enjoyable. 

For me, I found the characters endlessly fascinating!  It’s not enough that you have vampires “out of the coffin”, but you have a waitress who can hear people’s thoughts, a bar owner who is clearly in love with the waitress, and a best friend who constantly gets herself in trouble over the straight-talking, no holds barred attitude she carries with her. 

I’m not sure if I’ll be able to watch all the episodes, but so far, I’m definitely interested!  I’ll keep you posted as I’m able to watch more . . .
